Not trying makes me anxious, worried, disappointed, and weak. I like to see things for myself, to swim to the other side of the ocean and see if I would prefer it better on that side. What would the journey be like, and would I enjoy it?

I understand that hustle and grind culture surrounds us, with many people promoting it. But if you truly feel it’s too much, then it’s not for you. There are plenty of individuals out there who thrive in this lifestyle., I find joy in it. I prefer constantly chasing the next adventure, answering the question of “What’s next?” and getting excited to participate in the next challenges, competitions, new business ideas, and new experiences.

I have been overthinking my journey in social media as a newbie content creator to be, envisioning the type and niche of content I intend to develop and share, investing in courses, and acquiring the right gear. However, I never took action to do it, to be brave enough to share what I worked on, even if it was in the early stages and doesn’t meet my expectations or objectives. What did I gain from this approach? Frustration and disappointment.

Two days ago, I finally decided to do it, even if I wasn’t proud of the piece of content I created. I made a 30-second Instagram reel with extremely poor audio quality, weak content, lackluster storytelling, and less-than-ideal body language. But what did I learn from it? A lot. I realized that I don’t need to be fully prepared to start something, that it doesn’t have to be perfect for me to begin, and that I’m still a beginner. I’m not a pro, and I’ve never done this before, so it’s only natural that I won’t get it right on the first try. However, by taking this small step, I gained momentum and confidence. I feel empowered to keep going, learn from my mistakes, acquire new skills, and organize my ideas in a way that will help me achieve my long-term goal: creating my 100th video, which will undoubtedly be great.

If you’re reading this and you’re hesitant to start anything, I encourage you to take that leap. You won’t lose anything in the process. Instead, you’ll gain countless lessons and ultimately feel proud of the results.
